DESCRIPTION:Guemes Island Art Studio Tour     Saturday\, December 7\, 2024   \nThe 2024 Guemes Island Art Studio Winter Tour is Saturday\, December 7 from 10:00 to 4:00.  A total of nine Studio sites and three group Art Markets with more than 60 Guemes Island artists included in this year’s tour.  Fine art and creative crafts blend into a fun mix of purchase options. Of special interest\, 7 youth artists are included with hand drawn cards\, jewelry inspired by nature\, origami\, colorful vases and more.  \nThe tour will showcase artistic styles and a variety of mediums including ceramics\, fiber\, glass\, jewelry\, painting\, photography\, wood and more! The http://www.guemesislandart.org website is currently being rebuilt after a viral attack but we hope will be back before the tour. Information on artists and a self-guided tour route will be provided at two sites to make sure it is available. Sorry about the glitch and we appreciate your understanding. Special thanks to the Guemes Island Community Center Association (GICCA) http://www.MyGuemes.org website will continue to be the temporary location for information.  \nA tasty bake sale will offer coffee\, and snacks at the Guemes Island Community Center Hall which is located at Art Market #1. Proceeds to benefit Guemes Emergency Team (GET). Brochures with maps will be available at this location.  \nWhile registration has closed\, there are still one or two spaces available in our Art Market sites. The name of the artist will not be included in the promotional material\, but you can still be part of this fun event.  \n      \nThese are sampling of the many fine art and creative craft pieces to be found at the three Art Market locations.
