NOTICE OF DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION
Files # PL17-0017
Notice is hereby given that on January 11, 2017, Ms. Sandra Boeskov filed an application for a modification of Critical Areas Variance PL14-0154. The applicant previously proposed to remodel the existing single family residence located 18 feet from the shoreline and construct a detached remote bedroom 30 feet from the shoreline. The critical areas variance was approved for the remodel and construction of the detached remote bedroom. However, upon further inspection, the applicant determined that the structure of the residence was not suitable for remodeling and the residence was demolished. The applicant is requesting a modification to the critical areas variance to reduce the critical areas buffer from 30 to 18 feet to reconstruct the residence near its previous location. The proposed project is located within the Rural Intermediate zoning/comprehensive plan designated area. For additional information contact the County.
The subject site is located at 4429 Agate Road, Guemes Island, within a portion of the northeast quarter of Section 26, Township 36 North, Range 1 East, Skagit County, WA (Parcel P46551).
