Sally, 76, of Anacortes, WA passed away on January 1, 2017 on Guemes Island, a place that was near and dear to her heart.

She was born and raised in Anacortes, on September 25, 1940 to Clarence and Magdalene (Shoemaker) Naser. In her High School years, she enjoyed acrobatic dancing. After High School, she worked in her mother’s business as a beautician. She continued that tradition with her grandchildren, taking them to numerous places including ice skating and to the local beaches in Washington area during the summer time. Sally’s overwhelming desire to care for those in need, and her unconditional love for all her family and everyone she met, no matter what the circumstances were, led her to make a career change. She attended Skagit County Community College where she graduated with an Associate’s Degree as a Nursing Assistant. Sally continued this vocation till the end, caring for and helping passionately the elderly in the home health care field. Sally is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children and spouses: Rebecca (Mark Toler), Eric (Patricia) Stavig, Anthony, David, Chris and James (Olga) Stavig; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and her sisters: Loretta Koehler, Venice Mailing and Julie Shaver. Sally was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

She will surely be missed by all. She is now at peace with her Father in Heaven, as per her final biblical verse she shared with everyone in the end: “A Place Prepared” John 14:1-4.
