GETTING HERE

Take the Guemes Island Ferry at 6th Street and I Avenue in Anacortes. We suggest the 9:15 a.m. ferry or earlier.

Park and board ferry as a walk-on passenger for the short, eight minute ride. A free bus will take you from the Guemes ferry landing to the race site. There is no parking at the event site.

Do not confuse the Guemes Ferry with the Washington State Ferry, which serves the San Juan Islands, and leaves from a location west of Anacortes.

USATF Certified

The Dog Island Run is coordinated by the Guemes Island Library, Skagit Runners and Road Runners Club of America (RRCA).
