Hiking VERY Close to Home - Zoom

With Maribeth Crandell and Jack Hartt

Join us at 7 pm on Tuesday, April 28 for a zoom presentation on Hiking Very Close to Home, in an age of Stay Home, Stay Safe, Stay Sane. Maribeth and Jack wrote a book called Hiking Close to Home last year, featuring trails on Whidbey, Fidalgo, and Guemes islands. With the Stay at Home order, we still need to get outdoors when and where we can do so safely. Their presentation will focus only on trails that are within walking or bike-riding distance of where we live. They will discuss the most up to date details about trail closures and restrictions, and provide recommendations for hiking safely under the various circumstances we all encounter.

Share your thoughts throughout the meeting by email so we can answer questions as they arise.

The address of the zoom meeting will be shared this weekend on the Transition website: www.transitionfidalgo.org.

Call in or join by computer. The presentation will start at 6:45 with music and welcoming messages, and the presentation starts at 7. Hopefully. This is all a new world of how to meet together without meeting together.

Whoops. The site seems to be having a "moment".

Please describe what you were trying to do. Then we will brew some coffee, and stay up all night till we fix it.
